Northwoods CFI/II; not a time builder, at KRPD, KUBE, KSSQ
Life’s good in the north woods! Please know that I’ve retired twice before age 60 and am NOT a time-builder trying to get to the airlines. I am hoping to form long-term relationships with my students And look forward to helping them sustain proficiency for years to come. I am a recently certified flight instructor who lives in Birchwood, Wisconsin (where I also substitute teach). My focus is on sustainment training like BFRs, IPCs, WINGs credit flights and similar. Beyond that, I have enough time in Saratogas, Bonanzas and Arrows to satisfy any insurance company requirements should transition training be what you need. Do you need a complex endorsement? Do you want your high-performance endorsement? Happy to assist! I’m pretty sure I’ve been teaching for most of my adult life. US Army Veteran, certified to teach the Armor Crewman course by Ft. Knox; certified to teach the Officer Candidate School curriculum by Ft Benning; past Adjunct Professor at the graduate level teaching MBA/MIS candidates. Beyond all of that, I retired from a role where one of my duties was lecturing at professional conferences to provide license-sustaining continuing education to the water/wastewater industry across 13 states and 3 provinces of Canada. If I can explain the complex interactions between chemistry, physics and microbiology that take place in a wastewater treatment plant to members of the public, there isn’t anything in aviation I can’t make understable to my students. I am also licensed by the State of WIsconsin as a substitute teacher and exercise that privilege regularly to help our local schools.
