How Post-Lesson Adjustment Works

In flight training, plans don’t always go exactly as scheduled. A lesson may run longer than expected, weather might cause a delay, or a student may need extra instruction time. To make sure training is billed fairly, Skyfarer uses a Post-Lesson Adjustment flow that allows instructors to update the total session time after a lesson is completed.

How It Works

After each lesson, instructors are the ones who can update the total hours for the booking. This applies to both live online sessions and in-person training.

Here’s the simple process:

  1. After the lesson, the instructor goes to the booking’s transaction page.
  2. They click “Adjust Hours/Price” (under the “Reschedule” button).
  3. The actual training hours are entered.
  4. The system automatically updates the final amount.

Why It Matters

For students, this means you’ll always pay for the actual instruction you receive, whether that’s more or less than originally scheduled. For instructors, it ensures fair compensation for the time spent teaching — without the need for manual corrections or off-platform workarounds.

A Better Training Experience

Post-Lesson Adjustments create flexibility for both students and instructors, so lessons can adapt naturally to real-world conditions while keeping billing simple and transparent.

With this system in place, every session reflects what really happened — keeping your flight training both flexible and fair.
