ALERT (aircraft lead and emissions reduction technologies) was envisioned in 2025 to take a fresh perspective on the difficulties facing the development of an alternative to 100LL. By adopting a pragmatic mindset using existing off-the-shelf technology, ALERT aims to overcome emissions concerns by optimizing aircraft engine exhaust byproducts while retaining 100LL as the general aviation fuel of choice.
