Retired FAA operations inspector. 52 yrs flying experience I have been flying for over 50 years, and still loves to bring new people into the world of aviation. I ama retired Federal Aviation Safety (FAA) inspector who’s primarily responsibility was to provide continuing education to the flying public. I did that from the Milwaukee FAA office for 26 years, with a total of 36 years of government service. The last part of my career with the FAA, I was also a helicopter instructor and instrument examiner at the West Bend WI Army National Guard unit. I retired with the rank of CW-5 with 26 years of Military service. Certificates and ratings include Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) for both single engine, multi-engine and rotor-craft helicopter. I also hold instructor & instrument certificates for all of the above. I have over 9,000 hours of flight time with over 3,000 of that time in helicopters. I am a recent recipient of the FAA Wright Brother’s Award and is being inducted into the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.
