Looking to experience the fun of remote control model aviation? The RC Flying Field at AirVenture offers a welcoming space for AMA members to fly and for the public to discover model aviation up close. From introductory flights to open flying, stop by these spectator-friendly events. The field is located behind the EAA museum and directly across from the Eagle Hangar. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30-8:30 p.m. (Note: Flying ends at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.) The event is closed on Saturday. Don't miss special demos by Wing, including autonomous drone delivery demonstrations at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday (additional demos may be added).
