This presentation covers the seven years' work to build a flying replica of the Blériot, which crossed the channel in 1909. It includes identification of all drawings needed to realize the plane from various sources; procurement of original parts such as metal, specific wood, cables, ridoirs; manufacturing of the different ash-tree parts to construct and assemble the fuselage; construction of the two wings, empennage, drift, and the cable and control system; purchase and test of #3​/​6 25-hp Anzani engine built from an original model by the hungarian engineer Chris Lazlo; and final assembly, including engine components, pilot seat, control and command, wheels, and live test of the complete plane.
