The annual Salute to Veterans Parade will take place on Friday when all veterans in attendance are invited to meet at the Warbirds in Review ramp at 12:30 p.m. for a special patriotic tribute. Veterans will be invited to assemble behind their service flag for the playing of their service song followed by departure from Warbird Alley. The parade will depart the alley at 1 p.m. and will start arriving at Boeing Plaza around 1:45 p.m., at which time the program will start. The parade route will begin at Warbird Alley, to the P1 Taxiway, east to Wittman Road, then proceed south to Boeing Plaza. Veterans who prefer not to march are encouraged to join the group on Boeing Plaza at 1:45 p.m. for the group photo. Limited transportation will be provided by EAA and Warbirds of America using restored vintage military vehicles and golf carts.
