KAPA Based Flight Instructor CFI

KAPA Based Flight Instructor CFI

My name is Natalie and I’m a flight instructor CFI based out of KAPA! I’ve provided ground instruction for 2 years and now have taken my students to the skies. I’m dedicated to helping others discover their passions and uncover their full potential. Have experience in Cessna 172 P and N models as well as Diamondstar DA40 models. I've been teaching aviation ground courses in partnership with the U.S. Army and now am ready to help others earn their wings! I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a B.S. in Aviation & Aerospace Science and a B.A. in English Writing. Throughout my career as a pilot, I've uncovered a love for servitude to others and I couldn't think of a better way to share my passion than to open the doors of aviation to anyone willing to step through. As a proud member of Women in Aviation, I co-funded MSU Denver's WAI collegiate chapter in 2019 and helped to grow the general aviation community in the Denver Metro area with community outreach, career enhancement, and peer support. I’d love to help you on your aviation journey, no matter the stage you’re in! [Flight Training] Starting or continuing your flight training can be a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and even fear. Aviation is one of the most rewarding communities out there, whether you’re in it for a career or recreation. It all starts with your airport, your flight school, and most importantly your instructor! My own preliminary training suffered because I hadn’t found the right instructor, but as soon as I did, everything changed. Establishing a good working relationship between all of these elements is important, but remember you hold influence over your success! Surround yourself with people who want to see you soar and will help you takeoff. My goal is to continuously offer the support, knowledge, and attention my students need to thrive. A good instructor not only shows students how to spread their wings, but how to find confidence in knowing how to land. I am available to teach Private and Commercial Pilot students as well as perform Biannual Flight Reviews (BFRs). - Airports & Flight Schools My home airport, located in Centennial Colorado, is KAPA. This airport is busy – one of the 25 busiest in the nation – but it is a place of learning, tenacity, and safety. I’ve found flying here has helped me to develop phenomenal situational awareness, enhanced my radio communication skills, and furthered my development as a professional. Currently, I hold fight instructor privileges with Jeppesen Employees Flying Association (JEFA) and Centennial Flyers. I would invite students to join either association for phenomenal rates and a supportive community at KAPA. I am also familiar with KCFO, located just East of DIA, and KBJC, situated at the foothills of the chromatic Rocky Mountains. Though I am not affiliated directly with any flight school or association here, I am willing to fly out of these airports if my students prefer them!
