My name is Kevin, originally from the Chicago area currently residing in Denver. I am a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI​/​CFII​/​MEI) operating at Centennial Airport (KAPA) outside of Denver. I am available for private, instrument, commercial, multi-engine, and all instructor candidates. I can conduct flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, aircraft checkouts, and discovery flights or just help with whatever you want to work on that day. Aviation is career 3.0 for me and something I've developed a major passion for. Before aviation I spent about 7 years in corporate sales and another 5 years teaching English as a second language both abroad and locally in Denver. I aim to deliver personalized quality flight instruction and to be efficient with your time & money. I strive to find what works for the individual, rather than employing the same strategy and explanations to everyone. I will provide a clam and friendly experience during your training, while keeping us focused on the task at hand. After 2 years of flight instruction I have only had one student fail one checkride on their first attempt, which they passed a week later. In my spare time I enjoy all things outdoorsy: hiking, camping, backpacking, skiing, biking, etc. I'm an avid photographer, wannabe chef, and caretaker to too many (thriving) house plants. When I'm able, I like to travel domestically and internationally. Learning about people & culture fascinates me to no end. Professionally I want to continue to learn & grow in aviation. I enjoy flight instructing and could see myself doing this well into the future while also working another flying job.
