The normally aspirated 210M is powered by a Continental IO-520 engine, while the turbocharged T210M used a Continental TSIO-520 rated at approximately 310 horsepower. The 1978 210M / T210M platform offered strong climb performance, respectable short-field capability, and cruise speeds that made it one of the most capable piston singles of its era. The T210M variant in particular is known for high-altitude capability, with published figures showing a 310 hp engine, cruise speeds near 197 knots, and a service ceiling around 28,500 feet.
A defining feature of the Centurion is its high-wing, retractable-gear design, combining Cessna’s familiar visibility and utility with significantly improved cruise performance over fixed-gear singles.
