Hello, my name is Richard (Rick). I initially learned to fly in gliders at Dillingham starting in 2013 and have accumulated 270 hours of glider flight time exclusively there. I have flown a wide range of aircraft, from low-performance single-seat gliders to rare high-performance aerobatic gliders. I have experienced a variety of weather phenomena at Dillingham, including wave and convergence systems. I have over 300 hours in airplanes and continue to build time; earned my CFI airplane certificate.
