First-time Young Eagle flyers will have priority. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you have a child that is curious about aviation, then you are in the right place!  Chapter 84 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is hosting a Young Eagles flight rally at the Arlington Airport during the annual airport Community Day on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026. Volunteer pilots will be providing free introductory airplane rides to children and young adults ages 8 through 17. Flights will begin at 10:00am. The last scheduled flight departs by 2:00pm.  Pre-registration is required to reserve the fliers a time slot. Use the “REGISTER FOR EVENT” button found on this webpage. Registration will remain open until we reach our capacity.  Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled flight to check in and sign the pre-flight waiver. Late arrivals run the risk that their seat may be reassigned. The same parent or legal guardian who submitted the online registration will need to be present at the flight rally to sign the liability waiver. Note that grandparents, stepfathers, stepmothers, etc. do not qualify unless they are the legal guardians. Pre-signed waiver forms will NOT be accepted at the rally.  Young Eagle flights are weather dependent. We will only fly children when safe weather conditions exist. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.  Looking forward to meeting you and your youth fliers!
