The California International Airshow returns to Salinas Municipal Airport for its forty-fifth year, headlined by the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. The show has run on the Central Coast since 1981 and directs its proceeds to local charities.

Alongside the flying there are static displays, food vendors and a STEM exhibit area, so it works well as a family day rather than a flight-line-only visit.
