Veteran Certified Flight Instructor, Glider and Airplane
A Meteorologist & subsequently Professor, who became a Flight Instructor after retirement. My prior academic background allowed me to teach at both the secondary and community college levels. During and after retirement, I built 6 homes as a general contractor (B-1) and also became an FAA commercially-rated pilot and certified flight instructor, which I have been engaged in for the past 26 years. I love learning about Our Earth's Geography so one way is to fly over the huge diversities here, and also elsewhere in China, SE Asia, Middle East, and Eastern Europe--specifically Ukraine & Russia. The World is so unique with so many views of life and cultural history that precedes it all. Best way to try to comprehend the Global mosaic is by actively engaging in those foreign, geographical landscapes--teaching, socializing, flying, and interacting with all types of unique peoples of the World. This World of OUR is big, with it's 24 hrs global time zones, but not so big in other aspects of humanity, that people are all unique and different, but best of all, there is that very special human spirit that shows through in those foreign lands, if one just sit and reflect long enough, to see the beauty of our WORLD. May the Heavens be a likening to what is all the positives that I have seen and witnessed here on Earth, forever and one day in living memories and dreams.
