Who doesn't love a good game of poker AND a fun Saturday morning full of airport hopping?! There will be 6 airports to pick up cards at (see below). Pilots can go to just 5, or all 6 for a chance at a better deck. Either way, you MUST end at KSAC by 12pm to turn in your cards. Participating airports and EAA chapters are as follows (in no particular order): Poker Run Registration is $35​/​participant. The winner will get a cash prize of $200, then all other proceeds will go towards event costs and then get divided up amongst hosting chapters to support their programs. If you have an open seat and are looking for passengers OR if you are looking for a ride.... let me know. Also, if you're not comfortable going into any of the above airports, we have a lot of young pilots who are well versed with the local airports and can act as safely pilots. OKTOBERFEST (12-3pm) When the Poker Run ends at KSAC at 12pm, the festivities begin! In light of Oktoberfest season, from 12-3pm we're bringing a little bit of Germany home for funsies. Beer, brats, pretzels... if you want to wear your Lederhosen or Dirndl this is the time to do it! If not participating in the poker run, food and drink are available for purchase.
