Independent CFI | St. Petersburg​/​Clearwater (KPIE) I’m an independent Certified Flight Instructor based out of St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (KPIE) and I’m currently looking to take on a few more students for both flight and ground instruction. I currently work mainly with Private Pilot students, but I’m also available for Commercial training, flight reviews, checkride prep, and general proficiency flying. I try to keep my instruction pretty individualized since everyone learns differently and has different schedules, goals, and budgets. I completed all of my flight training through Skyborne Airline Academy under Part 141 and currently hold Commercial Single-Engine, Commercial Multi-Engine, Instrument, and CFI certificates​/​ratings. I’m also finishing my B.S. in Aviation: Professional Flight through Liberty University. I’ve flown a variety of aircraft including the Piper Warrior, Archer, Arrow, Seminole, Cherokee 180, Diamond DA40, SF.260, and Socata TB9. I also have experience with a mix of traditional and glass-panel avionics including the Garmin G1000, G500, G5, G3X, GTN 650​/​750, and Aspen systems. I’m available for both flight and ground instruction and can work with students flying suitable rental or owner-provided aircraft. My schedule is fairly flexible during the week and on weekends, so I’m happy to work around school, work, or other commitments as much as possible.
