Helping Pilots Realize Value From Their Airplane and Ratings

My goal is to help pilots realize the utility of general aviation, and do it safely. I’m an instrument instructor (CFII) in Boston, MA; and have been flying for more than 25 years. I’ve owned and managed airplanes, and have flown for both business and pleasure across the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Like other CFIs, I can work with you on new certificates and ratings, and help with proficiency. I can also use my experience to help get the most out of your aircraft, and make safe decisions while using your airplane on business and leisure trips. I’ve flown hard IFR in singles to challenging destinations for business, and I’ve had to make go/no-go decisions in the face of weather and external pressures. I'm familiar with most modern avionics, including G1000, G650/750, and G430/530, and can help you use them in in the IFR system. For example, I can join you on trips where you fly the airplane, and I take care of logistics and planning while you visit clients, colleagues or suppliers. This helps you focus on your business without having to divide attention and think about the return flight. This is the utility you need from your investment, and I can help realize the benefit of your airplane. When we fly together, we’ll establish goals for both your proficiency and for the utility of your certificate and airplane. On trips, we’ll build from your personal minimums and use sound aeronautical decision making (ADM) to make key decisions. We’ll debrief each flight, and work to make safe decisions, improve proficiency, and strengthen the value that you get from your airplane.
