FAA's Air Traffic Organization (ATO) organizes annual Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) meetings at towered airports. These RSAT's collect safety data related to runway utilization and operations at those airports. As part of an ongoing runway safety process, your DAB RSAT Team is preparing to hold its next event in two segments to debrief the public on developments since their last public meeting. This first segment is a two-hour Pilot - Controller Forum (PCF) to provide interactive feedback between the local DAB pilot community and ATC. Second segment is the next day at 0900 - 1100to conduct a focused DAB RSAT meeting; see SPANS Select ID SO15144664. Both two-hour discussions will cover runway safety topics including pilot deviations, runway incursions, safety enhancements, future plans and YOUR inputs. Both events are FREE, and public welcome! Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend BOTH segments. Seating is limited; pre-registration is strongly encouraged for EACH segment!
