Im a professional pilot and aerospace engineer. 7 years with the US Army as an engineer. Currently working for TMC Jets flying Hawker 400XP and Nextant jets. 5 years as a Flight Instructor specializing in Multi-engine, technically advanced aircraft, instrument, and aerobatic instruction. [More about me] Combining my experiences as an airline pilot, flight instructor, and aerospace engineer, I offer a unique perspective and a diverse skill set to the aviation industry. I am dedicated to continuous growth, always seeking opportunities to contribute to aviation's advancement and provide outstanding service to passengers and students. Before my aviation career, I worked as an Aerospace Engineer at the Army Research Laboratory, specializing in vehicle technology and unmanned systems research. Proficient in low Reynolds number aerodynamics, UAV analysis, and design, I contributed to cutting-edge projects using non invasive wind tunnel testing, solid modeling, and 3D printing. My career in aviation began as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Harford Air Services, where I discovered my passion for teaching and sharing the wonders of flight. Specializing in private, instrument, commercial, and CFI pilot training, I provided comprehensive instruction and excelled in tailwheel training. At Travel Management Co., I served as a First Officer on Hawker 400XP aircraft, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring unforgettable travel experiences. After TMC Jets was bought by Wheels Up, I upgraded to Captain. During my time as a Line Check Airman and Captain at Wheels Up, I conducted line checks, facilitated captain upgrades, and ensured adherence to operational standards. I took pride in training pilots and maintaining the highest quality of training was my number one priority. In general, as a Corporate Pilot, I strived to deliver excellent customer service to high-profile individuals in the private jet industry. I also actively participated in the ASAP team and event review committee. As a side job, I was Chief Flight Instructor at Frederick Flight Center, I specialized in advanced commercial, multi-engine, and CFI training. From instrument instruction to large twins, I shaped the skills of aspiring pilots using mentorship, collaboration, and coaching. With a passion for teaching, I found fulfillment bringing aviation theory to life in the cockpit. I offered comprehensive instruction with a focus on tailwheel and spin training. This brings me to now. At United Airlines, I’m dedicated to providing exceptional service. Based in D.C., I flew the Boeing 737 fleet for my first year. Now flying the Boeing 767 and 757, I enjoy the new adventures provided by Europe and South America long haul. Beyond flying, my joy comes from connecting with passengers—helping them find their gate or inviting kids for cockpit tours, spreading smiles throughout the day.
