Mr. Ward is an experienced air traffic controller having worked in 4 of the ARTCCs, including Indianapolis Center, Chicago Center, New York Center and Atlanta Center with supervisor experience at Chicago Center, facility Air Traffic Manager experience at New York and Atlanta Centers, Regional Office (AGL), Eastern Service Area and Service Center (ESA/ESC) and Regional Office (AGL/ASO) experience. He is also a corporate/charter pilot with Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) credentials, and a trained safety management system (SMS) professional, speaker, and instructor. Mr. Ward is an accomplished manager and leader recognized for adaptability, positive results, dedication, high energy, work ethic, professionalism and valor. Further, Mr. Ward was a keynote speaker at local, regional, and national forums relating to Air Traffic Control and Airspace Management. Made numerous presentations on technical and policy issues to local, regional, and national organizations; including since 2004 have taught for Transportation Safety Institute as an Associate Instructor for Aircraft Accident Investigation. Responsible for the implementation and integration of Flight Procedures within the Service Centers and the Operations Support Groups. Principal speaker at AOPA Forums on Safety, ATC and Airspace and Procedures as they relate to the General Aviation Pilot. Strong operations professional with a BS focused in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
