Aviation enthusiasts & community friends — we are BACK for another year with The Great Interior Pumpkin Drop & Fly-In at Sky Ranch Airport (95Z) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and YOU'RE INVITED to the most loved aviation event in the Interior. (Yep, as organizers, we get to be biased!)

There's nothing quite like fall in Alaska... especially when pumpkins are falling from airplanes. Whether you're coming for the flying, the food, the music, or dare we say the hats, or just a fun day with family and friends, there's something for everyone at one of North Pole's favorite fall traditions.

Admission is FREE — instead, please support and tip the vendors and donate to the local organizations spending their Saturday supporting the event.

Gates open at 12:00 PM to music, food, activities, and pilot registration. Earliest possible drop start time is 2:00 PM. Stay tuned on the event page for updates.

• Fly-in camping open Friday, September 25 through Monday, September 28
• Music by local Fairbanks musicians
• Come hungry and support your local food trucks
• Family-friendly games and activities
• BYOC — bring your own chairs!
• Please carpool if you can to help make space for all
• No pets permitted — help keep everyone safe and leave furry friends at home

DROP DETAILS FOR PILOTS
• BYOP — bring your own pumpkin (x3) — or don't! Thank you to Kinross Alaska for being the pumpkin sponsor again this year
• Drop altitude: 200 ft AGL
• Registration starts at 12:00 PM, followed by a mandatory safety briefing. First possible drop start time is 2:00 PM. Advance registration will be posted on the event page in the coming weeks.
