If you are looking to expand your skill and comfort zone, as well as making yourself "loss-of-control" proof, you need to come see me. I have been flying for 57 years and 13,000 hours, almost all GA. I have flown over 100 different types of aircraft and have been instructing for over 25 years. I enjoy teaching primary students, advanced students, as well as less common skills, e.g. spins, basic aerobatics, upset recovery, tailwheel transition, and formation flying. I am interested in students who want to explore and develop their skills in-depth rather than just advancing as rapidly as possible from rating to rating.

I provide instruction in a SIAI Marchetti F260D and a 1940 de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth (open cockpit biplane).

Policy

I am generally pretty flexible. If you have to cancel and reschedule, I would like 24 hours notice. If weather, maintenance, or other unavoidable issues occur I am also flexible. If you are just a no-show, I will charge you $200 or half the expected cost of the instruction, whichever is lower.

Pricing - Hourly Rate

Dual instruction in your airplane $100​/​hr Dual instruction in the F260 or Tiger Moth, $500​/​hr dual, wet Ground instruction $100​/​hr but multiple people may attend.

Additional Notes

All ground training is based on clock time. Flight time is by hobbs time. For flights, nothing is charged for preflight briefing or post-flight debriefing. That is part of the flight time instruction.
