Hi all! I’m a Commercial Pilot, CFI and CFII trained in the Pacific Northwest, where real weather and terrain shape pilots who think ahead and fly smart. I regularly fly my own Piper Cherokee 235 around Seattle and bring practical, real-world flying experience to my instruction. Before aviation, I spent years teaching and mentoring in the software engineering world, so instruction—explaining clearly, adapting to different learning styles, and keeping students motivated—is something I’ve done professionally long before becoming a flight instructor. Ground knowledge is one of my strengths, and I enjoy making complex topics intuitive and practical. My teaching style is pragmatic and real-world focused. I emphasize sound judgment, good habits, and the skills that actually keep you safe beyond the checkride.
