I have taught flight students for over 25 years in a wide variety of settings, with 2500+ hours of flight instruction; from "ab initio" new high school students, "pinch hitter" classes for girlfriends and wives to overcome fear of flying, to professionally oriented Military school and Airline Cadets, and specialty students such as military special ops pilots and airline pilots in the FAA and EASA systems worldwide, and even older students interested in finally achieving a bucket list accomplishment that they set aside for families and work. I have flown for several private Part 91 flight schools in the Midwest, and a Part 141 College program in Florida, and also done freelance instructing in New England. I have flown air charter in turbine and turbojet aircraft in those locations as well, and recently taught diverse international and military students at a specialty seaplane school in Florida. Having flown in in 48 states and some other countries, Maine is as beautiful a place as there is to fly over as it is to sail around, and there is nowhere better to learn to fly! I still enjoy sharing my love of aviation with others, young and old, new and experienced. I continue learning from my students too, which keeps me growing. I can show you what I know, and whatever tricks I used to learn it, and maybe help guide you on your own path of discovery. Getting there all begins with the next step on the path from where you are to where you want to go.
