A Young Eagle Event is a flight rally where EAA Chapter 333 (Ann Arbor, Michigan) give young people (ages 8-17) the opportunity to go flying in a general aviation aircraft - the kind of aircraft an private individual can own and operate. The ride is free. The Young Eagle program was launched in 1992 by the national EAA organization and has provide more than (2) million youth nationwide the experience of a free, introductory flight. EAA Chapter 333 (Ann Arbor), its pilots and volunteers, have provided over 600 of these flights.
