More about me: I have worked in aviation-related fields for over 10 years doing a wide range of jobs and acquiring an even wider range of skill sets. I have completed my education with a Bachelors of Science in Professional Piloting and a Minor in Aviation Management from Central Washington University, a Masters of Business Administration with focuses in Aviation and Corporate Leadership from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Graduate Certificate in Post-Crisis Leadership from the University of South Florida. My career goal is becoming a long-haul aircraft captain while working on the management side of an operation as a Chief Pilot, Vice President of Flight Operations, and​/​or in Union Management and Labor Relations. I currently work as a Captain on the Embraer E175 as well as in Pilot Development, Pilot Recruitment, and Beta Flight Testing at Horizon Air based in Portland, Oregon, while also serving on the Executive Council for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 1224 representing the 700+ Horizon Air Pilots overseeing the HIMS, Jumpseat, Professional Standards, Scheduling, and Technology Operations Committees while concurrently serving on the Hotel Committee, the Negotiating Committee, and as Vice President of Local 1224. I am also an eight-time nominee and two-time winner of the SOAR Award, which is Alaska Air Group’s highest safety award.
