Soaring, which is the greenest and potentially less expensive form of sport flying, is fading out because of high costs and lack of soaring sites. We will discuss this and how EAAers can reverse this trend. The key is a plansbuilt, motorized sailplane that can operate from general aviation airports. I will present a design that could solve this problem. Hopefully, your ideas will add to saving this beautiful form of flight.
