Avi was fantastic. A great communicator and flexible prior to the lesson. Great feedback and easy to chat with. Looking forward to future flights with him. Highly recommend him to others, new and old students alike.

Highly Recommended: Avi Ben-Menahem – Outstanding Cirrus SR-22T Instructor My husband and I recently had the pleasure of training with Avi Ben-Menahem, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. As retired USAF pilots with approximately 3,000 hours each, we had accumulated over 21 years of “rust” since our last regular flying. We needed someone who could not only help us safely get current but also unlock the full potential of our Cirrus SR-22T with the Garmin Perspective+ G1000 suite. Avi delivered on every level. From our very first flight, Avi’s friendly, patient, and professional demeanor immediately put us at ease. He has an exceptional ability to teach complex material clearly and effectively. We were particularly impressed with how he methodically walked us through the “buttonology” of the Garmin G1000 Perspective system — its autopilot modes, synthetic vision, electronic charts, weather integration, and all the advanced capabilities that make the SR-22T such an incredible aircraft. What could have been overwhelming became genuinely enjoyable under his guidance. Thanks to Avi’s expert instruction and encouragement, we successfully completed our Instrument Proficiency Check while sharpening our skills in the high-performance Cirrus environment. He tailored every lesson to our experience level, challenged us appropriately, and celebrated our progress. His deep knowledge of both the aircraft systems and instrument procedures gave us the confidence to fly our SR-22T safely and proficiently again. We thoroughly enjoyed every hour in the air with Avi. If you own a Cirrus (especially an SR-22T) and are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and highly skilled instructor — whether you’re transitioning, getting current, or pursuing an IPC — Avi is the instructor you want. He’s simply excellent.
