Now it's time to take the next step and book a free consultation so you can start your aviation learning journey.

Here's a Simple Guide to Scheduling Your Free Consultation:

1. Go to the 1-on-1 Live Session Listing Page.

2. On the right side of the page, you’ll see a filter bar. Find the option for "Free Consult" and select it. You can choose between a 15-minute or 30-minute consultation to see which instructors offer it.

3. Browse through the list of instructors offering free consultations. Click on the profile of the instructor you’d like to learn more about.

4. Review the session information and our instructor's background. This will help you decide if it'd be a good fit for your needs.

5. Scroll down to the "About the listing author" section at the bottom of the page. Click the Contact button to reach out to the instructor.

6. In your message, introduce yourself and briefly explain your goals and needs. Be sure to mention that you're looking to schedule a free consultation.

For example: "Hi [Instructor’s Name], my name is [Your Name] and I’m a student pilot based in [Location]. I’m currently preparing for my instrument rating and would love to schedule a 30-minute free consultation to get your guidance. Looking forward to hearing from you!"

7. The instructor will get back to you to schedule your consultation. They’ll confirm their available times and provide any further instructions you may need.

8. Meet your instructor in your virtual classroom on Google Meet. Alternatively, you can meet on another video chat platform if you and your instructor agree to do so.

What to Expect from Your Free Consultation

Your free consultation will help you determine if the instructor is a good fit for your pilot training journey. Simply come prepared, on time, and ready to be yourself! Here are some typical discussion points during the consultation:

• Introduce yourselves and get to know each other
• Share your aviation goals, how you like to learn, and the areas you'd like to focus on
• Discuss your current flight training experience to ensure you're starting at the right level
• Engage in an activity or discussion to get a feel for the instructor’s teaching style and how they can support your progress
• Create a training plan together

Your instructor will guide you throughout your flight training, so you stay on track and gain confidence as you work toward achieving your pilot goals.

When reaching out to our instructor, please take a few minutes to introduce yourself and share your aviation goals. This will help the instructor understand how best to assist you.

• How the instructor can help: Mention any areas where you need guidance, such as flight planning, oral checkride prep, or understanding endorsements.
• Fill out your student profile: Include key details such as your aviation experience, training interests, and goals. This will give the instructor a clearer picture of your background and help ensure they’re able to offer personalized advice. (You can always come back and update your student profile as your experience grows or your goals evolve.)
