The City of Tavares, Florida salutes veterans and active-duty service members with its first Grills, Frills & Chills celebration at Wooton Park West, 350 S Sinclair Avenue, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.
More than 200 paratroopers are scheduled to make a Veterans Day tribute jump into Lake Dora between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. On the ground there is a red, white and blue classic car show, vendor displays, live music, a talent show and food trucks. Opening ceremonies with the national anthem and colour guard begin at 10:00 AM, the talent show starts at 11:30 AM and the Dallas Tyler Band plays at 1:00 PM.
Admission is free. Hosted by Tranquiliti Healing Arts & Wellness and sponsored by the City of Tavares.
