I am a pilot of 54 years, 25 of those as a CFI, and 13,000 hours of flight time. I specialize in spin, basic aerobatic, and upset prevention and recovery training. I am also a solo circumnavigator and ferry pilot. I have been flying for 57 years and 13,000 hours, almost all GA. I have flown over 100 different types of aircraft and have been instructing for over 25 years. I enjoy teaching primary students, advanced students, as well as less common skills, e.g. spins, basic aerobatics, upset recovery, tailwheel transition, and formation flying. I am interested in students who want to explore and develop their skills in-depth rather than just advancing as rapidly as possible from rating to rating.
