Prerequisites Required

Note. Must be at least 17 years of age and hold a vaild medical and student pilot certificate. Must meet the aeronautical experience requirements listed in §61.109. Number of flight hours may vary. The FAA required flight time minimum for Part 61 is 40 hours flight time; however, the FAA cites approximately 75 hours as the US average to complete private pilot certfification requirements. Training is conducted to proficiency and safety, and may exceed quoted minimums. Several variables may affect the overall cost & duration of training to include but not limited to: pilot aptitude, training frequency, aircraft maintenance, and weather.
