It feels like just yesterday I was in the midst of my own flight training journey—balancing ground school​,​ flight lessons​,​ and the uncertainty of whether I could actually make it in this industry. That was nearly six years ago​,​ and looking back​,​ I wish I had taken more time to enjoy the process. Flight school—both as a student and later as a CFI—remains one of the most meaningful and fulfilling seasons of my aviation career. While I’ve thoroughly enjoyed flying the heavier metal​,​ nothing compares to the joy of helping others chase their own aviation dreams. When I started​,​ I had no connections in aviation and zero experience. I simply knew I couldn’t spend another day behind a cubicle wondering "what if." Through hard work​,​ support from the aviation community​,​ and a lot of persistence​,​ I now have experience flying both private charter and medevac in the Part 135 world​,​ as well as instructing in Part 61 and 141 training environments.
