It feels like just yesterday I was in the midst of my own flight training journey—balancing ground school, flight lessons, and the uncertainty of whether I could actually make it in this industry. That was nearly six years ago, and looking back, I wish I had taken more time to enjoy the process. Flight school—both as a student and later as a CFI—remains one of the most meaningful and fulfilling seasons of my aviation career. While I’ve thoroughly enjoyed flying the heavier metal, nothing compares to the joy of helping others chase their own aviation dreams. When I started, I had no connections in aviation and zero experience. I simply knew I couldn’t spend another day behind a cubicle wondering "what if." Through hard work, support from the aviation community, and a lot of persistence, I now have experience flying both private charter and medevac in the Part 135 world, as well as instructing in Part 61 and 141 training environments. If you’re where I once was—uncertain, overwhelmed, or just starting to dream—I want to be the nudge that helps you take the next step. I’m living proof that it can be done. The road won’t always be easy, but it’s absolutely worth it. And you won’t be walking it alone—this industry is filled with people who want to see you succeed.
