Flight Training and Instruction in Rhode Island
CFI/CFII | Former Assistant Chief Instructor | Since 2007 I’m a seasoned Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) with over 15 years of experience helping students grow into safe, confident pilots. As a former Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at a Part 141 program, I’ve guided students through structured training environments and understand the common challenges aspiring pilots face. I focus on helping students build strong fundamentals, good habits, and decision-making skills that serve them well throughout their aviation careers. I’m based in Rhode Island and provide instruction out of North Central State Airport (SFZ) and Quonset State Airport (OQU). I’m also open to traveling across the country for specialized training opportunities. Certifications and Endorsements: I hold Commercial ASEL and AMEL ratings, along with endorsements for tailwheel, high-performance, complex, and UAS (drone) operations. I carry active CFI insurance and have aircraft access, including Piper aircraft. - **Why I Should Be Selected as Your Flight Instructor** With over two decades of aviation experience, I bring a proven commitment to safety, excellence, and mentorship. I’ve been a Certified Flight Instructor since 2007, served as Assistant Chief Instructor at a Part 141 flight school, and currently serve as the Standardization and Evaluation Officer for the Civil Air Patrol’s Rhode Island Wing. My instruction is built on a foundation of precision, patience, and real-world operational insight. I strive not just to help students pass a checkride—but to shape confident, competent aviators who embody professionalism in the cockpit.
