Flight Planning & Weather Guidance
Struggling with weather charts or understanding weather patterns? Want someone to take a second look at your trip planning? Whether you’re stuck on a particular part of the flight planning process, or need some guidance with specific planning tools, I’m here to help you. Based in the Ozarks/Midwest, I teach ground classes in a Part 141 aviation program and provide independent instruction across multiple aircraft. My goal is to make aviation more accessible, and I’m passionate about helping others achieve their flight goals. A bit about me: I didn’t grow up in an aviation family and used to think flying was only for the super-rich. Imagine my surprise when I discovered how achievable and incredible it is to earn a pilot’s license! I absolutely love flying, and I believe it’s one of the most rewarding things you can do, despite the hard work involved. In addition to aviation, I have a background in mechanical/technical repair, which means I can provide in-depth assistance on aircraft systems. My experience as a sailor has also sharpened my understanding of weather and aerodynamics. I’m well aware of the challenges students face, especially when there’s a lack of ground instruction. That’s why I’m here to fill the gaps and provide the guidance you need. Locally, I specialize in helping students who’ve experienced unusually long primary training finish their certification. If you’ve had a break from flying and are looking to get back in the cockpit, I’m here to help you rebuild your skills. I’ve also assisted students with flight planning for new aircraft purchases and have experience in repositioning/delivering aircraft. Let’s work together to get the job done!
