Flight Instructor (CFI)
I am a CFI based out of the Rockford, IL area. Willing to travel if necessary. I am familiar with most Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin airports. I am willing to provide ground and flight training and am here to help meet the needs of my students. I am generally flexible with availability and am open to whatever works for you! I have experience flying around the Midwest and the Southwest parts of the US. I have flown various aircraft, including Cessna 152, 172, 177, 377, and 310 | Piper PA-28 | Beechcraft Musketeer (BE-19) | Piper PA-44 I am willing to provide instruction for Private Pilot Students, Commercial Students, Flight Reviews, High-Performance Endorsements, and Complex Endorsements. I am also familiar with TAA aircraft and many types of avionics and glass cockpit systems. This includes the Garmin G500 and G1000 systems as well as the GFC autopilots.

About the instructor
I have experience in a wide variety of aviation training formats and schools. I earned my Private Pilot Certificate in a plane that had no GPS and no iPad! But I have also flown with some of the more advanced avionics and technologies available to pilots today. I have experienced both Part 61 and Part 141 training, so I understand what works and what doesn't from each side of it. I have trained in the Midwest as well as the Southwest, so I am well-versed in various types of flying. This ranges from the extremely cold to the extremely hot. I believe in a practical and individual approach to flying and tailor lessons to meet the needs of each of my students. I hold a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate as well as a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Certificate. I am a Commercial Pilot with a Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating. (CPL ASEL AMEL IR)
