About the instructor
Hello, I'm Anthony G.
I began my flying journey at the age of 15 and achieved my solo flight at 16. At age 17, I proudly obtained my Private Pilot License. My aviation pursuits continued as I acquired my Commercial Single and Multi-engine Instrument Airplane Land ratings. Life took me in different directions for nearly two decades, but my passion for flying rekindled about a year ago. During this time, I successfully completed a Biennial Flight Review (BFR) and an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC). I also became a member of a local flying club, where I eagerly anticipated flying a Cessna 182 for personal use. Unfortunately, immediately after getting checked out in the 182, the aircraft's owner decided to cease leasing it to the club. I've been devoted to reacquainting myself with aviation knowledge and skills and have set my sights on becoming a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). I've already obtained my AGI and IGI certificate and am currently preparing for my CFI Initial Practical Exam. I'm now on the lookout for a study group in the Dallas-Fort Worth area where I can engage in collaborative learning and gain experience in teaching. It would be fantastic if I could find a flight school willing to let me assist one of their instructors in preparing and teaching a ground school. Any information or assistance in this regard would be immensely appreciated.
