Hello, I'm Brian B..
My love of aviation was kindled nearly 40 years ago when I began taking flying lessons in high school. After a 30-year hiatus for college, career, and marriage, I finally had time to return to my passion, and sped through my PPL, IR, CPL, AGI, IGI, CFI, and CFII, licenses and ratings in airplanes, and a UAS (drone) license. Last year, I began taking glider lessons, with a goal of eventually being able to train glider pilots, as well! I've given training at all levels, from aspiring newbies to ATP candidates, and several of the pilots with whom I've worked have gone on to careers in aviation. I have a master's degree in education, and I've been a lifelong teacher/trainer. Before flight instructing, I was a high school teacher, a sports coach, a technical trainer, and an author/editor of training and testing materials. I volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol for 23 years in a variety of management, training, and emergency services roles. In season, I'm also a certified ski instructor. I mostly operate out of Hudson Valley Regional Airport (KPOU) in Wappingers Falls, NY, and I'm also an approved instructor for schools at Danbury Airport, CT (KDXR), Kingston Airport, NY (20N), and Sky Acres Airport, NY (44N). If you have access to other aircraft, I'm willing to work anywhere.
