EAA Chapter 260 welcomes all youngsters ages 8- 17 for a free airplane ride to experience the fun of flying in a small general aviation airplane. Rides are available whither it is your first Young Eagle adventure or your 100th! Our Young Eagle pilots are driven by their love of aviation to promote that enthusiasm into the hearts of their young passengers. They are planting the seeds to inspire young people to envision aviation as part of their future.
Safety, fun and comfort are the cornerstones for each flight. Since general aviation aircraft is very sensitive to weather conditions, it is possible that the rally could be cancelled or delayed on the morning to the rally due to unexpected weather changes such as excessive wind, rain or fog. Young Eagle flying is supposed to be fun and poor weather conditions can squelch the excitement.
