CFI, CFII
I started flying June 1977 with a gift certificate given to me by my wife. This was a wonderful start to my flying career. Soon after obtaining my private pilot certificate, I earned my Instrument, Commercial certificates. I then proceeded to work on my Certified Flight Instructor certificate (CFI) with the blessing from my family. After much sacrifice from my family and their encouragement, I obtained my CFI certificate—September 1985; and then my CFII in 1987. With the new certificate I was off to find employment to exercise my accomplishments. DJ Flying services took me under their wings and gave me an opportunity. This is where I LEARNED to fly! Giving instruction was a great way for me to cement my skills. I was fortunate to have full time employment in the Auto industry; this provide my family with a stable income. I now could use my “spare” time to provide my students with quality AFFORDABLE instruction.
