I have been instructing since 1983, and have since amassed well over seven thousand hours as an instructor from Piper Cubs to large transport category aircraft, including 5 years of teaching in Level D simulators at three airlines, and 17 years as a FAR 121 Check Airman. Ground school course development, recurrent training course development as well as CRM course development and facilitating at a major Part 121 carrier round out some of my teaching experience. Over thirty years have been spent in flying and instructing around the world in all sorts of weather and environs, emphasizing ICAO procedures. Having obtained formal training and experience in mountain flying, bush flying and tail wheel flying in Cessnas, Pipers, Maules, Bellancas etc, this type of flying is especially dear to me. Additionally, I have worked in maintenance as an A & P in general, military and air carrier aviation. Memberships include AOPA, EAA, APSA, Alaska Airmen’s Association, NBAA, Seaplane Pilots’ Association, and others. Of foremost importance to me is my love for God because He first loved me, my love for my family because they accept me unconditionally, and my love for this great country of ours because it has adopted me and given me a home. I am proud to have served.
