Knoxville Mountain Flying Adventures

Knoxville Mountain Flying Adventures

I am a Military Veteran of two Branches of the Armed Forces and a former Flight Instructor of three flight schools. I came to Tennessee for an Engineering Opportunity when aviation was still suffering a major down fall. While I was here I fell in love with the mountains. With my love of flying and now my love of the mountains I decided to create Knoxville Mountain Flying Adventures. My teaching credentials and experience coupled with affordable flight rates provided by Skyranch of East Tennessee is a win for the customer and for my strong desire to teach and fly. Mitch's successful teaching style was adapted from my two training programs: a College Aviation Program in Iowa and an Accellerated Aviation Program in Minnesota. I takes the best of both worlds and applies them to my students to effectively grow into strong competant Aviators in a shorter period of time. I hold an CFII & MEI and has been Flight Instructing since 2006. In addition to teaching, I wanted to expand aviation to allow others to experience the my same excitement of Mountain Flying, while getting to stop at other Airports to refuel and enjoy a nice lunch (otherwise known as the famous $100 Burger). I also volunteer as an FAA Safety Representative and am designated as an Master Pilot in the FAA Wings Program.
