Hello, I'm Cambrie F.

Hi! I’m Cambrie Foster​,​ a full-time commercial seaplane pilot with a love for floatplanes​,​ backcountry flying​,​ and helping the next generation of aviators take off. I earned every commercial airplane rating by the age of 19 and have been instructing since I was 18. My passion lies in the unconventional side of aviation​,​ whether that’s landing on remote strips in Utah and Idaho or flying a Super Cub on floats in Alaska. I currently work in Idaho as a commercial seaplane pilot flying the de Havilland Beaver and Beechcraft 18 on straight floats. Alongside flight instruction​,​ I’ve taught high school students in a simulator-based aviation program and helped build the curriculum. I love breaking down complex topics and tailoring lessons to meet each student’s learning style​,​ helping them not just pass checkrides but become truly safe​,​ capable pilots.
