Reminder: Before the Session
It’s always a good practice to message your new student ahead of time to confirm the session’s time, particularly with your time zone. This can help avoid confusion and ensure both parties are prepared. You can also use this opportunity to ask questions that will help you better prepare for the session.
During the Session
- If your student doesn’t arrive on time, start by sending a message via the booking page’s chat feature, letting them know you are waiting in the session.
- Wait at least 15 minutes for your student to join. There's no need to remain in the session for the full time if the student hasn’t shown up by then.
- If the student hasn’t joined after 15 minutes, send them a follow-up message informing them that you waited and advising them to contact you if they are still planning to attend.
After the Session
Depending on the situation, you may need to reschedule the session or let us know to still charge the student.
Free Consultation Sessions:
For free consult sessions, we strive to be flexible, understanding that unexpected issues may arise. In these cases, we recommend reaching out to the student to clarify the situation and agree on a new date and time.
For Paid Sessions:
For paid sessions, if a student misses their session, reach out to them to discuss the issue and arrange a new date and time. You may need to contact us to help facilitate the rescheduling process.
Student Missed More Than One Session
If a student repeatedly misses sessions or does not provide an explanation, report the issue to us, and we will provide additional guidance on next steps.
