Request Listings: A Way for Flight Instructors to Find Students on Skyfarer
Most pilots and student pilots visit Skyfarer because they’re searching for flight instruction. Until now, the process was simple: instructors create listings, students search for them, and training gets booked. But many students come with very specific needs — advanced endorsement, aircraft-specific training, or help with niche flying skills. These needs aren’t always easy to find.

What Is a Request Listing?
Instead of instructors posting what they offer, students now create a short request describing exactly what they need.
Instructors can then browse these requests and submit offers directly.
This reverses the usual flow and makes it far easier for you to find students who match your expertise.
How It Works
1️⃣ Students Create a Request
They describe their training needs, goals, availability, and any special requirements.
2️⃣ Instructors Search for Requests
You can browse these posts just like instruction opportunities — filtered by training type, location, or availability.
3️⃣ Submit an Offer
When you find a request that fits your expertise, you can send the student an offer with your pricing and availability.
Note: To submit an offer, you’ll need to add your payout details so you can receive payments on Skyfarer.
4️⃣ Chat, Adjust, and Confirm
Students can respond, ask questions, or request changes. Once they accept your offer, the booking is created.
5️⃣ Complete the Training
After confirmation, simply carry out the session as agreed.
