Skyfarer Academy and Instructair today announced that the acquisition bringing the two companies together has officially closed.

This milestone combines Skyfarer Academy’s fast-growing online aviation training marketplace with Instructair’s network of flight instructors and pilots, creating an expanded, more connected community for pilots across the U.S.

Skyfarer Academy connects student pilots and aviation enthusiasts with experienced instructors for live online and in-person flight training. Instructair has built a reputation for helping pilots find available instruction through its platform.

By joining forces, Skyfarer Academy will provide a single destination for discovering flight instructors, booking training sessions, and accessing resources.

As part of the transition, Instructair will discontinue its independent website and app, and all user accounts — including instructor profiles, listings, and related content — will migrate to the Skyfarer Academy platform. Sensitive data, such as financial information, personal identifiers (e.g., government-issued IDs and airmen certificates) and passwords, will not be transferred. This move ensures uninterrupted service and provides instructors and students with expanded tools, resources, and opportunities.
