We've spent the last few weeks focused on improving how customers find, evaluate, and reach out to you on Skyfarer. Here's what's new — most of it is aimed squarely at helping you get better visibility and better-qualified inquiries.

1. New updates on the Skyfarer site

Smarter location search
City and ZIP code searches now pull in nearby listings more reliably — even when the closest match sits just outside the original search area. And if a search comes back empty, the page automatically widens the radius once and shows results from the surrounding area instead of leaving the visitor at a dead end. The practical benefit for you: customers searching near your listing location are far more likely to land on your listing.

Cleaner, more useful listing pages

• “Show more” on descriptions improves scanability on listing pages while keeping detailed information accessible for interested users — especially on mobile.
• “More options near you” now surfaces additional school and instructor listings, giving students more ways to discover providers in their area, including you.
• Trust badges — “ID Verified” and “Email Verified” — now appear on profile cards. They give students an immediate read on who they're dealing with before they reach out, and they help complete, verified profiles stand out from incomplete ones. If you haven't completed verification yet, it's worth doing.

Better communication tools

• Advanced inquiry form + multi-contact for training listings: When a student reaches out, Skyfarer now helps collect training details up front, and display them clearly in your inbox — so you get a sharper picture of what the student needs before you even reply. Students can also contact additional nearby ****CFIs /Schools in the same step.
• File attachments in message threads: Both user sides can now share files directly inside a transaction thread. Documents, images, certificates, forms, receipts, and training materials can now all live in one place.

These updates are part of a broader push to make Skyfarer more useful for both pilots and providers — helping customers find the right options faster, while giving you better tools to stand out, respond, and convert inquiries into real relationships.

2. Partnership highlights

SkyEagle Aviation Academy
Skyfarer has partnered with SkyEagle Aviation Academy, an FAA Part 141 flight school based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Many pilots on Skyfarer — instructors included — are working toward an airline career, and the ATP CTP course is one of the most efficient ways to gain eligibility for the ATP Multi-Engine (ATM) knowledge test on the path to Airline Transport Pilot certification.

To support that, SkyEagle is offering Skyfarer users an exclusive 5% off the course, which is regularly $3,999. This is our first advanced-training partnership as we continue building out a growing network.
