Flight Training and Flying Lessons with FTN at KPIE
Aviation has been my destination since a Career Day in elementary school, but it took the unwavering support of my wife to turn that childhood curiosity into a professional mission. My journey to the cockpit began after serving in the United States Marine Corps, where I learned that success is built on a foundation of discipline, proficiency, and mission success. Today, I lead Durare Aviation LLC—a name derived from the Latin 'to endure.' My goal isn’t just to help you pass a checkride; it’s to build the enduring skills that make you a superior pilot for life. Technical Expertise & Airspace Mastery: I bring the experience necessary to train in the high-intensity airspaces of Class C airspace of Daytona Beach (KDAB) and Class D airspace of St. Pete/Clearwater (KPIE). Whether you are navigating the Class Delta environment for the first time or mastering advanced avionics, I provide a structured, professional path in several airframes: • Airframes: Cessna 172, Cessna 150, Piper Archer III, and Socata TB-9. • Avionics: Expert instruction in traditional '6-pack' steam gauges, modern Garmin G1000 Glass Cockpits, and integrated hybrid panels. My Teaching Philosophy: Having transitioned from the Marine Corps to the fast-paced world of the restaurant industry, I understand that the student is the mission. I am a 'whatever it takes' instructor. I focus on high-standards training, ensuring that Safety is the floor, not the ceiling. At KPIE, we don't just fly; we pursue perfection in every maneuver. If you are ready to achieve your aviation dreams with a partner who values your success as much as you do, let’s get started at KPIE.
