Pilot Services at KLUK
If you are looking for a full-time flight crew or just a day pilot, we can cover your needs. We have management customers that fly their own jets for personal trips but want a professional pilot on business trips, nothing is too big or too small. Our passion for aviation started with maintenance and grew into piloting. This gives us a unique understanding of the total aviation experience. Not only can we fly the aircraft we maintain, but we also have an extensive network of pilots in and around the tri-state area that can help your current flight department. We have full-time and part-time pilots ready to assist. [About Me - Jeff Mayerle] Founder Jeff Mayerle has had a love for aviation since a young boy. He started his career with the United States Army, specializing in Aviation in 1982. As a flight engineer, he developed a passion for Chinook Helicopters and served in this capacity while stationed in Central America. Leaving his career honorably from the Army, he came to acquire an extensive knowledge of general aviation with a foundation at Alabama Aviation and Technical College in Ozark, Alabama. After graduating in General Aviation Technology and earning his commercial pilot’s license as well as his Airframe and Powerplant license, he moved back to his roots in Cincinnati, Ohio and continued his love for aviation and sharing his knowledge as a flight instructor and Director of Maintenance at a local airport. No job was too small even in his early years and no job too big as he worked at multiple airports and maintained commercial aircraft with ComAir at CVG. With his thorough knowledge of most aircraft and their abilities, if you’ve spoken to Jeff at any length… you recognize that he is a valuable resource for consulting in everything from aircraft acquisition to a well-designed maintenance program. Jeff found his niche in helping customers by developing a personalized “flight department” for any size corporation that wants the confidence to know their asset is available and working for them and their goals without the stress or overhead that comes with establishing an in-house flight department. His first business was established in 1992 working primarily with turbine and piston aircraft. He sold this business in 2000 for other aviation ventures which allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding for jets and the variety of capabilities they can offer to his clients. In 2003 he founded Pilot Services of Ohio LLC. to offer a new concept in Aviation customized Aircraft Management. Jeff has his ATP rating with type ratings in the Beechjet 400, Cessna Citation 650, 560XL, 500 series and a single pilot exemption in the 500 series. Along with his Airframe and Powerplant with an Inspection Authorization.
