Training Center Standardization Instructor turned FO
I have been flying since 2001 when I joined the ASU Aviation Management Technology program. Two weeks after school started 9/11 hit and I watched the industry fall apart. I achieved my greatest accomplishment in June of 2002 when I successfully passed my Private Pilot checkride and joined the ranks of the aviation community. I continued through 2 years of the program, watching the industry struggle, before deciding to explore other options. During the summer of 2016 I stopped kidding myself and got back into what I really love! I completed a fast-track training program in 2017 with my CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings, and have been instructing since! I instructed for the same program I went through, ending my tenure there in March of 2019 to take a First Officer position with a regional airline and I’m loving every minute of flying a jet! I enjoy instructing and hope to continue to do so for years to come!
